In February 2011 I gave a lecture called Tintin and I? at Kalmar Art Museum. The lecture adressed issues of racism in Hergés early work. I also talked about how Hergé and the books about Tintin have influenced me as an artist.

A commission for the library of new build school, Hanemålaskolan, in Nybro 2010. I have, since I was little, always liked the atmosphere in libraries. I wanted to do a painting with some movement in the composition, still I wanted it to express a calm peacefulness. The motive is paper cherry blossoms made in Japanese Origami technuique. Oil on canvas. Mesaures: 20' x 4'.

Stars is a sculpture commissioned by Kalmar Muncipality for a new build day-care center at the school in Rinkabyholm. The users had several criteria for the work; safety was a major issue, different materials was a request, and the sculpture was to function as a natural place for the children to assembly.Materials: Two of the stars, the green and the silver one, are cast in aluminium and painted respectively polished. The brown star is sculpted out of wood and treated with linseed-oil and pigments. The black star on the ground is made out of concrete and treated with wax and pigments.<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsNight_905.jpg" width="905" height="746" width_o="1810" height_o="1492" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsNight_o.jpg" data-mid="10000277" border="0" align="left"/><img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsGirl_905.jpg" width="905" height="746" width_o="1810" height_o="1492" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsGirl_o.jpg" data-mid="10000281" border="0" align="left"/><img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsBoy_905.jpg" width="905" height="746" width_o="1810" height_o="1492" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/4/147468/2001774/StarsBoy_o.jpg" data-mid="10000285" border="0" align="left"/>

A commission by Ölands Folkhögskola for the new build studio building 2009. The school had decided on the theme Horse and I made this drawing with inspiration from book of Revelation 6:1-8, the story of the four Horsemen of the ApocalypseThe rider closest to the viewer is a self portrait, the second and fourth are characters from Dogs. The third rider, lightnig a cigarette, is a portrait of Jackson Pollock, one of my favourite painters.
A Photoshop drawing printed on vinyl by Big image in Stockholm. The print mesaures 25' x 15'.
